The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has allocated a €42 million loan to LLC Volynholding, a subsidiary of Nestle, for financing investments in the development of new production in Ukraine.
This information is confirmed by data on the bank's website.
"The Project will support development of a new production site in the Western part of Ukraine to create a food production hub in the region," reported the EBRD.
It is noted that the project will promote the development of a new production facility in the western part of Ukraine and the preservation of economic activity in the local food production sector. As for inclusive quality, the project is aimed at safeguarding the livelihoods of people who have been directly affected by the war.
