According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on January 2, up to 260 Russian invaders were liquidated and wounded in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The units of the Defense Forces hit the building of the occupation commandant's office in Vasylivka, Zaporizhzhia region.

"We say hello to the orcs, who are located in the commandant's office of Vasylivka, Zaporizhzhia region. We are waiting for confirmed and good news, but we can already hear the howling of the wounded, and the locals already unpack the packages for the dead," the Department of Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports on Telegram.

In turn, the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, Petr Andryushchenko, informed that judging by the reports of Russians in Vasilyevka, there was a hit in the accommodation of the invaders in a hotel near the military commandant's office.

"In particular, the defeat of the enemy on January 2 in the areas of the settlements of Tokmak, Melitopol, Berdyansk, Pologi, and Vasilyevka of the Zaporizhzhia region was confirmed: 2 ammunition depots were destroyed, up to 10 units of various types of military equipment, 2 occupiers' deployment points were hit, up to 260 military personnel were liquidated and wounded," from the statement of the General Staff.
