On the night of October 30 (starting at 7:00 p.m. on October 29), the Russian forces carried out a combined strike on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure using attack UAVs and missiles launched from air, land, and sea.

In total, the Air Force’s radar units detected and tracked 705 aerial targets — 52 missiles (including 9 ballistic) and 653 UAVs of various types (around 400 of them Shaheds):

  • 653 attack drones of the Shahed and Gerbera types (and other UAV models) launched from Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Chauda (occupied Crimea);
  • 4 Kinzhal (Kh-47M2) aeroballistic missiles (from Nizhny Novgorod region, Russia);
  • 5 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles (from Rostov region, Russia);
  • 8 Kalibr cruise missiles;
  • 2 Iskander-K cruise missiles (from Kursk and Voronezh regions, Russia);
  • 30 Kh-101 cruise missiles (from Saratov region, Russia);
  • 2 Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles (from the Black Sea area);
  • 1 Kh-31P anti-radar missile (from the Black Sea area).

The aerial assault was repelled by Ukrainian Air Force aviation, air defense missile units, electronic warfare and drone units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data as of 11:30 a.m., Ukrainian air defenses shot down or neutralized 623 aerial targets, including:

  • 592 attack UAVs (Shahed, Gerbera, and other types);
  • 7 Kalibr cruise missiles;
  • 1 Iskander-K cruise missile;
  • 21 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
  • 2 Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles.

Currently, direct hits from 16 missiles and 63 attack drones have been recorded at 20 locations across Ukraine, while debris from downed aerial targets fell at 19 additional sites in various regions.

In addition, 3 Russian missiles (as of 11:30 a.m.) have been lost from radar tracking — information about their impact sites and consequences is being clarified.
