Russian forces conducted large-scale attacks across Ukraine overnight and throughout the past day, striking multiple regions with drones, artillery, and missiles. Reports from regional authorities detail civilian casualties, widespread infrastructure damage, and ongoing emergency response operations.
Kyiv region
Three districts of Kyiv region—Fastiv, Vyshhorod, and Bucha—came under heavy Russian attack during the night of December 6, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
In Fastiv, strikes caused fires and damage on the grounds of the railway station and a motor-car depot.
In Novi Petrivtsi, debris from a UAV ignited a warehouse covering 5,500 square meters, destroying three trucks and damaging seven residential buildings.
In Nezhylovychi, Bucha district, a fire destroyed a private building.
Three people were injured in the region. Cleanup and response operations continue.
Dnipropetrovsk region
The Dnipropetrovsk region suffered a massive nighttime attack that left an 11-year-old boy injured, reports Acting Regional Military Administration Head Vladyslav Haivanenko.
Several fires broke out in Dnipro following the strikes, including damage to a private house. In the Zelenodolsk community, infrastructure was hit, while Pavlohrad sustained damage to a garage and outbuilding after a UAV strike. Russian forces also targeted the Nikopol area with heavy artillery and FPV drones, damaging homes, outbuildings, and a power line. The injured boy in Nikopol received medical treatment.
Kherson region
One person was killed and two more injured in the Kherson region over the past day, according to Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Prokudin.
Kherson and 27 other settlements were struck by drones, airstrikes, and artillery. Russian forces targeted residential neighborhoods, critical infrastructure, and social facilities—damaging an apartment building, three private homes, a destroyed cell tower, a farm, a post office, outbuildings, trolleybuses, and vehicles.
Shelling left parts of Kherson’s Central and Dnipro districts without power.
Zaporizhzhia region
The Zaporizhzhia region experienced one of the heaviest bombardments, with 729 strikes recorded in a single day, Regional Military Administration Head Ivan Fedorov reported.
A 71-year-old woman and three men were injured in the Zaporizhzhia district.
Russian forces launched four missiles at Znachkove, 22 airstrikes on multiple settlements, and 435 drones—mostly FPV—across 19 towns and villages.
Five MLRS attacks hit Prymorske, Hulyaipole, and Solodke, while 263 artillery strikes targeted more than a dozen communities.
Thirty-six reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure were recorded.
Donetsk region
Russian forces killed two civilians—one in Kostiantynivka and one in Lyman—and injured three more across Donetsk region, according to Regional Administration Head Vadym Filashkin.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, at least 3,753 civilians have been killed and 8,536 injured in the region, not including casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Chernihiv region
In Chernihiv region, nighttime UAV strikes damaged residential buildings and critical infrastructure, causing fires in Koriukivka district as well as in Chernihiv and surrounding areas.
State Emergency Service units quickly extinguished fires and continue response efforts.
Sumy region
Russian forces launched more than 80 attacks on the Sumy region over the past day, striking 29 settlements across 15 communities, according to the regional administration.
The strikes—carried out with drones, MLRS, and FPV drones—damaged and destroyed civilian infrastructure.
An apartment building and private homes were hit in the Sumy community, while civilian facilities were damaged in the Vorozhbianska and Velykopysarivska communities.
Residential houses were also damaged in Bilopillia, Seredyna-Buda, and Novoslobidska communities.
No casualties were reported in the region.
Kharkiv region
In Kharkiv region, two civilian men aged 52 and 55 were killed in the village of Kapitolivka, Oskil community, during Russian strikes, Regional Administration Head Oleg Synegubov reported.
The Russain forces attacked Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv with a Molniya-type UAV and employed a wide range of weaponry, including guided bombs, Geran-2 drones, Lancet drones, Molniya drones, FPV drones, and 15 drones of unknown type.
Damage was reported to residential and civilian infrastructure across the region, including a private house and two vehicles in Izium, railway infrastructure in Nove, a house, garage, and outbuilding in Korobchyne, and a private home in Katerynivka.
A transit evacuation point in Lozova received 73 people over the past day, with 13 remaining. Since opening, it has registered 14,185 people.
The region also saw 184 combat engagements, including ten clashes on the Southern Slobozhanshchyna front (Vovchansk, Prilipky, Odradne, and near Izbytske and Lyman) and five attacks on the Kupiansk front. Ukrainian forces repelled assaults near Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, and toward Hlushkivka.
