Russian forces attacked the territory of Ukraine overnight on January 28 with Shahed drones and ballistic missiles. Air defense forces destroyed four attack drones.

This information is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their Telegram channel.

"On the night of January 28, 2024, the enemy attacked with eight Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs from the southeast direction (Primorsko-Akhtarsk, RF), two 'Iskander-M' missiles targeting Poltava region from the Voronezh region, RF, and three S-300 missiles targeting Donetsk region from the temporarily occupied territory of the region," the Air Force statement said.

It is emphasized that the enemy targeted civilian objects and critical infrastructure in Poltava, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Four out of the Russian UAVs, with which the adversary attacked the near-front zone, were destroyed by the mobile fire groups of the Air Force.
