Norway will provide Ukraine with additional NASAMS air defense systems amounting to 335 million Norwegian kroner (30 million dollars), as reported on the official website of the Norwegian government.
Some of the systems will be dispatched from Norway's own stockpiles for prompt delivery to Ukraine, while others will be ordered from manufacturers.
"Air defense is a crucial part of Ukraine's defense. The Ukrainian authorities always demand more support for air defense and prioritize it," emphasized Norwegian Minister of Defense Bjørn Arild Gram.
In addition, Norway allocates 273 million dollars for humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, covering education, healthcare, and pension payments.
The total aid amount is 1.8 billion dollars.
