Number of wounded in Mykolaiv following night Russian strike rises to 16

As of October 15, the number of people wounded in Mykolaiv due to a Russian missile strike has increased to 16, according to the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration on Facebook.

Around 2:30 AM, Russian forces attacked Mykolaiv with S-300 missiles. The attack damaged an infrastructure facility, a restaurant complex, trading pavilions, residential buildings, and cars, causing fires. Efforts to extinguish them are ongoing.

 

 

One woman was killed, and 16 people were injured, with three receiving outpatient care. Later in the day, at 10:50 AM, Russian forces used FPV drones to attack the Kutsurub community, though no casualties were reported.

Additionally, at 11:30 AM, Russian artillery struck the village of Lymany in the Halytsynivska community, damaging a private house, an outbuilding, and agricultural equipment, but no injuries were reported.

During the night, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down three Russian Shahed-136/131 drones over the Mykolaiv region.
