On the 16th of August the Odessa Philarmonic Orchestra conducted by the Maestro Hobart Earle performed the Weinberg's stunning Symphony No. 21 "Kaddish" in memory of the victims of the Warsaw ghetto.


This concert was showed by the prestigious online portal Musical America Worldwide alongside the events of Metropolitan Opera, Glyndebourne, the Salzburg Festival and Tanglewood.

The online stream is available on Youtube with a personal introduction of the Director Hobart Earle.

The Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Odessa Philharmonic Orchestra is Maestro Hobart Earle, who elevated the orchestra to a position of international prominence, unprecedented in the history of the organisation, performing in such concert halls as the Musikverein (Vienna), the Philharmonie (Cologne), Barbican Hall (London), the National Auditorium (Madrid), Orchestra Hall in Chicago, the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, Carnegie Hall (New York) and the Kennedy Center (Washington), Davies Hall in San Francisco and the General Assembly of the United Nations.

In recognition of his work with the Odessa Philharmonic Orchestra, Hobart Earle was awarded the title People’s Artist of Ukraine, the first American in the history of Ukraine so honoured.
