If now everything stops hypothetically, then we will re-equip the army, deploy it and prepare it, Zhdanov answered.

No one will agree to freeze the war today, military expert Oleg Zhdanov believes. Even Russia, whose defense industry is not keeping pace with the needs of the RF Armed Forces, considers all the risks of such a decision.

According to Zhdanov, freezing the conflict will help re-equip not only the Russian army, but also the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“We won’t sit still either. If now everything stops hypothetically, then we will re-equip the army, we will deploy and prepare it. It will turn out again - marching companies with rifles and machine guns against high-tech Western weapons, which will already drops per hour," Zhdanov explained.

The expert noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are currently forced to fight at the limit of their capabilities due to the slow pace of supplies and small volumes of arms supplies.

"And then (in case of a freeze on the fighting) we will be fully equipped and have a reserve … No one will give anyone a break. And, by the way, Russia understands this very well. But they understand that there will be a respite for both sides," Zhdanov answered.
