This was reported to journalists in the city hall.

In particular, from today, as part of the implementation of the North-South tram route project, route No. 7 will run from the Suvorovsky to Kyivsky district and in the opposite direction.

The mayor's office notes that this is one of Europe's longest passenger city tram routes (after the Belgian one). It connected the two most distant regions. Trams will pass through the center of Odessa, mainly through Starosennaya Square (near the railway station), where a stop is provided.

The route length is about 30 km. On weekdays, according to the mayor’s office, 40 cars will run on the line, the traffic interval is about five minutes, and the travel time is 2 hours and 20 minutes. More than 60 stops in one direction.
