In Poland, there is a belief that the Russian Federation is involved in the sabotage of the "Nord Stream" and "Nord Stream-2" gas pipelines. However, in Germany, there is skepticism regarding this information.

Zeit reports that the Polish secret service has sent a message to their German counterparts, stating that the identities of some of the crew members of the sailing yacht "Andromeda," which was in the vicinity of the pipeline sabotage, have been established. According to the message, several individuals who may have been on the yacht at least part of the time held Russian citizenship.

It is believed that the "Andromeda" vessel played a decisive role in the attack on the Nord Stream gas pipelines on September 26, 2022.

"We have substantial grounds to assume that this yacht was used to commit the crime," said Lars Otte, Deputy Attorney General, in June before the committee on internal affairs of the German Bundestag.
