"I thank you both for the projects that have already been implemented, as well as for your willingness to support the Rebuild Ukraine program. I know you've already done a lot. Returning housing to Ukrainians is an important and very necessary mission,"Â he noted.
Michel Hazanavicius also took a walk through the center of Kyiv. The new UNITED24 ambassador was impressed by the beauty of the city:
"Kyiv is full of life; the spirit of freedom is in full swing everywhere. That makes capturing the city impossible."
Michel consistently supports Ukraine. On December 1, the director organized a charity auction, featuring lots provided by Tom Hanks, Catherine Deneuve, Alain Delon, Natalie Portman and Tom Bangalter from the legendary French electronic duo Daft Punk. Together, the celebrities have raised 250,000 euros. Hazanavicius has transferred half of these funds to restore the apartment building. After that, only 25,500 euros remains to complete the fundraiser.
