On the night of August 7th, the main page of the website of the Moscow City Bureau of Technical Inventory (Mosgortechexpertiza) displayed a message stating that the resource has been hacked, and its infrastructure and databases have been destroyed. This incident was noticed and reported by "Vazhnye Istorii".

The hackers claimed that they gained access to data about property owners in Moscow and transferred this information to the Ukrainian authorities. The message reads, "Infrastructure and databases of the MOSGORBTI were destroyed! We have all the data on the places of residence and property of the inhabitants of the capital of the damned aggressor country that unleashed a war with a peaceful state. Information about civil servants, politicians, military and special services representatives supporting the war with Ukraine has been transferred to the Defense Forces of Ukraine. We know everyone! We know everything! Enemies will be found and destroyed! Beware just retribution!"

In their statement, the hackers provided links to their Twitter and Telegram pages. On those pages, it is mentioned that they are IT specialists working for peace in Ukraine. This group was previously associated with the largest cyberattack on Rutube in May 2022, when the video service was down for two days. The same group also claimed responsibility for hacking the website of the Skolkovo Foundation in May 2023.
