Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski arrived in Ukraine for a visit. The head of Polish diplomacy, along with the mayor of Lviv, visited the site of a recent missile strike and declared Poland's assistance in rebuilding the damaged infrastructure. He wrote about it on X.
'After meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Minister Radosław Sikorski traveled to Ukraine. Together with Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi, Minister Sikorski laid flowers at the memorial plaque for the victims of the Russian missile strike on September 4,' the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
In the video attached to the post, the head of Polish diplomacy emphasized that the Russian strike on Lviv's civilian infrastructure is 'another war crime,' and there are many more such targets in Ukraine, which the international public is not even aware of.
'I want to announce that we reaffirm our commitment, as proposed by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, to rebuild the building and school indicated by the Lviv city authorities, using Polish funds, in solidarity with Ukraine, which is heroically fighting,' Sikorski said.
He also called on NATO and the entire democratic world to accelerate the supply of weapons, especially air defense and missile defense systems, which are urgently needed here.
