The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, once again published a telegram post sharply criticizing the commander of the Central Military District, russian Colonel-General Alexander Lapin.
In the area of ââââthe settlements of Terny, Torskoye, and Yampolovka, Kadyrov wrote, five armored personnel carriers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and 50 military personnel crossed the Russian defense line without a fight. Responsible for this area, said the head of Chechnya, was Lapin. According to Kadyrov, the offensive was stopped, but it was necessary to withdraw part of the troops from the defense of the city of Rubizhne.
The history of the surrender of the Red Liman defense line is repeated. One-to-one. And so far we have avoided the tragedy in this sector only due to the correct deployment of forces on the second echelon of the defense line. Now Lapin is behind the defense of Svatove and Makeevka.
With this post, Kadyrov responds to Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Wagner PMC, who, through his press service, said that in the war in Ukraine there are âplowmenâ who work âfor the sake of victory and minimization of lossesâ, and there are âpersonnelâ "many of whom have not learned anything except how to wear uniform and write beautiful reports." âIdlers, Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov knows who I'm talking about, they should leave immediately."
Kadyrov, in turn, mentions Prigozhin in the post, calling him âdear brotherâ, âa born warriorâ and emphasizing that âit is necessary to pay close attention to the assessment of such people, listen, draw conclusions.â âThey know exactly what is right and wrong in a war,â Kadyrov wrote.
âAs Yevgeny Prigozhin correctly noted, tactical and personnel changes are needed. Now, not tomorrow,â said the head of Chechnya.
Yevgeny Prigozhin, according to American intelligence, cited by The Washington Post, directly told Vladimir Putin about the mistakes made in the war in Ukraine. According to the publication's interlocutors, who are familiar with the intelligence report, Prigozhin expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that the Russian Defense Ministry imposes too many obligations on the Wagner PMC, while not allocating enough financial and material resources.
