Maxim Marchenko urged Ukrainians to treat this with understanding.
Residents of Odessa and the region will no longer be informed about the restoration of the power supply and repairs. Russian occupiers use this data for new strikes.
"The enemy uses any information about the progress of repair work to carry out repeated strikes, as well as to plan new ones. Therefore, due to the sensitivity of such information, we will publish it very limitedly," said Maxim Marchenko, the head of the Odessa Regional Military District.
He urged Ukrainians to treat this with understanding.
"When the situation with electricity improves, each of us will feel it anyway," the official summed up.
According to the head of the Regional military administration, Maxim Marchenko, as of December 11, 300,000 customers remained without electricity in the Odessa region.
