Due to the crisis in the real estate market in Russia, the Russian forces are unable to repair destroyed housing or carry out new construction in the occupied territories of Ukraine.

This was reported on Telegram by the Center for National Resistance.

“Kremlin developers admit to a crisis in the Russian real estate market. Due to the reduction of subsidized mortgages and inflation, construction has become unprofitable. This directly impacts the ‘construction’ in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine — in Mariupol, Severodonetsk, and Avdiivka,” the statement says.

It is noted that the residential complex 'Livoberezhnyi' was supposed to be built on the site of Mariupol residents’ neighborhoods — but instead of new housing, only facades for TV cameras remain.

“There is no real restoration. Only theft, falsifications, and imitation,” the Center for National Resistance notes.
