In the Russian media space, they are increasingly talking about the threat of the collapse of Russia. Military expert and reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Svitan believes that in this way, the Russians are being prepared for the exit of the occupying troops of the Russian Federation from the territory of Ukraine, moreover, with defeat.

"The Kremlin is already beginning to prepare the Russians to leave Ukraine and with defeat. They are already drawing up such scenarios and psychologically preparing the Russians for the Russian army to leave Ukrainian territory," he said on Channel 24.

According to Svitan, the Russian military-political leadership will try to justify itself in the eyes of its population. Because of this, the Kremlin is trying to replace concepts and show the defeat in the war that Russia unleashed against Ukraine as a victory. Actually, the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukrainian soil in Moscow can be explained by the "preservation" of Russia itself.

"This is a good psychological mechanism to strengthen the spirit of Russians and stay in power," Svitan said.

The expert predicts that after that, Russian troops will hold the borderline between Ukraine and Russia in defense mode as of 1991. And this will be presented to the Russian population as "protection of the state."

"Three Russian regions have been preparing for this for several months already. In the Belgorod, Kursk, and Bryansk regions, trenches are being dug, so-called "dragon's teeth" are being set up," said the reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At the same time, according to Svitan, the portrayed "protection of the border" to the Russian population will be sold as a victory over the "terrible West."
