On the night of October 7th, Russian occupiers launched supersonic anti-ship missiles of the Oniks type at the Odessa region. These missiles were fired from the coastal missile system Bastion located in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
"The impact occurred on a boarding house in the recreational area and on a grain storage facility within the port infrastructure. The rocket fragments and the explosive wave caused a fire in a garage cooperative, and several apartment buildings were damaged. There is no information about casualties," report the Southern Defense Forces.
It's worth noting that an air raid alert was issued in the Odessa region at 2:00 AM. Soon after, reports of explosions in the regional center emerged. The air raid alert was lifted at 2:20 AM.
According to the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleg Kiper, in the Odessa region, four people were injured as a result of the attack. They sustained injuries from glass fragments. Kiper mentioned, "They have been provided with all necessary medical assistance."
