Russia has transferred up to 5,000 soldiers towards Vuhledar. The Rusian forces equipment movement has been recorded in Mariupol.

This was reported by Petro Andryushchenko, advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, on Telegram.

"The Russians continue to send reserves towards Vuhledar. Convoy movements from Russia through Mariupol towards Volnovakha/Vuhledar have intensified. No fewer than 13 trucks, mostly carrying ammunition," Andryushchenko noted.

He also mentioned that Russian forces have been transferred from the Berdiansk direction to the Nikolske community in the Mariupol district. However, there is a noticeable slowdown in this process and a reduction in numbers on that front.

According to Andryushchenko, up to 5,000 Russian soldiers have been transferred towards Vuhledar. Vuhledar is a city in the Volnovakha district of Donetsk region, located approximately 57 km from Donetsk. The situation in the area is currently difficult. As previously reported by the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Russian troops are attempting to encircle Vuhledar.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have been holding positions in the Vuhledar area for about two years. Currently, significant Russian forces are being transferred near Vuhledar.
