Russia suffers huge losses among its personnel, so the aggressor country continues to look for new mercenaries who are ready to die in Ukraine. So, 800 Hezbollah fighters are being trained on the side of Russia for the war with Ukraine. This was reported by the Lebanese TV channel Al-Hadas.

“It is noted that representatives of the Russian PMC Wagner held talks with the Shiite armed group Hezbollah about sending militants to Ukraine,” the newspaper writes.

The first 200 people are due to arrive on March 29 at an airbase in the Gomel region, Belarus. According to the contract, the payment for hiring one militant will be $1,500 per month. Plus, Hezbollah and Iran may receive some preferences for large transactions.

Immediately after this meeting, Hezbollah opened a recruitment and mobilization office in the Syrian cities of Quseir, Aleppo, Yabrud, and Sayyida Zeinab, as well as in the southern suburbs of Beirut (Lebanon), which is under the control of the group.

The channel reports that the information about sending fighters to Ukraine differs from the promises of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah last week, who denies "any possibility of participation in the events in Ukraine."

But, as Novaya Gazeta emphasizes, Hezbollah "has previously denied the participation of its people in the war in foreign countries" but subsequently admitted to sending fighters each time.
