The Russian army has intensified its assaults in the Kramatorsk and Toretsk directions, attempting to breach the defenses of Ukrainian forces.
According to the Operational Command Khortytsia, Russian forces tried to penetrate Ukrainian defenses near Stupochky, Predtechyne, Bila Hora, Krymske, and Shcherbynivka.
High-intensity fighting also occurred in the urban areas of Chasiv Yar and Toretsk. Russian forces launched 150 artillery strikes and one GAB aerial attack on Chasiv Yar, while Toretsk faced 91 artillery strikes and one airstrike. Various types of drones were actively deployed.
As a result of assault actions and fire by Russian forces, some Ukrainian positions were damaged. Measures are being taken to prevent a deterioration in the tactical situation.
Situation in Other Directions
- Kharkiv direction: Russian forces attempted to storm Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk but failed.
- Kupiansk direction: Offensive actions in the areas of Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Pishchane, and Petropavlivka were also unsuccessful.
- Lyman direction: Russian forces attacked positions near Kopanky, Hrekivka, Novoyehorivka, Kolodiazi, and Yampolivka without achieving gains.
- Pokrovsk direction: Heavy fighting continued in Lysivka, Zelenyi, Kotlyn, Nadiivka, and Shevchenko. Russian forces also attacked positions near Vodyane Druhe, Myrolyubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Udachne, Uspenivka, Dachne, and Yantarne. Ukrainian defenders held their ground, inflicting significant losses on the Russian forces.
- Novopavlivka direction: Supported by artillery and drones, Russian forces carried out offensive actions near Novy Komar, Rozlyv, and Ulakly. Fighting is ongoing in Velyka Novosilka, where Russian forces conducted nearly 30 artillery strikes on Ukrainian positions. Ukrainian defenders continue to inflict losses on Russian personnel and equipment in intense defensive battles.
