Russia has not launched its aircraft into the zone of operation of the Ukrainian Air Force for more than three months. The aggressor country changed tactics.
Yuriy Ignat, the speaker of the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, announced this on the air of the telethon.
In the first weeks of the full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, enemy aircraft often flew into our territories. The occupiers thought that "an easy walk" would await them here. The enemy underestimated our military and began to receive a powerful rebuff. The entire Russian Federation underestimated our fighting spirit, Ignat noted.
"It was then that they changed their tactics, they understood… And for more than three months, they have not flown into the zone of destruction of our air defense at all," said a representative of the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He added that now the enemy prevails quantitatively, but our military is fighting on their land and defending their Ukraine. That is why the Armed Forces of Ukraine repel the attacks of the Rashists and do not allow the invaders to relax.
