Russia is preparing an escalation at the front in Ukraine in February 2023.
This statement was made by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, on the air of the national telethon, answering the relevant question:
"The month of February will be decisive for them. They are counting on a certain aggravation, and they are preparing. There are many markers, for example, we see that Kozak (deputy head of the presidential administration of Russia) has become more active. He is holding meetings with European leaders to force us to sign certain "peace agreements". Many markers give us reason to say that in February, they may have another attempt to resolve this issue."
He explained that a certain list of events would take place in February this year, including the Munich Conference and meetings in New York.
Danilov also noted that another wave of mobilization is likely to take place in Russia in the near future.
"Mobilization in Russia will be highly likely. We consider such a probability as more than 50%," Danilov said.
