Russian forces are currently unable to conduct an effective, large-scale offensive in the southern direction due to a shortage of resources. Over the past day, seven unsuccessful attacks by small infantry groups were recorded.

Dmitro Lykhoviy, spokesperson for the Joint Forces Operation Tavria, reported this during a TV marathon.

According to Lykhoviy, Ukrainian units in the southern direction continue defensive operations, taking measures to improve their tactical position and achieving certain successes. However, the front line, while stable overall, remains dynamic in some areas.

"If we compare our direction with the overall situation on the front, it is clear that the Russians lack the resources to conduct an effective, large-scale offensive in our area as well. Over the past day, there have been seven recorded Russian attempts to attack, including four in the Orikhiv direction and three in the Krynyky area," Lykhoviy said.

The spokesperson noted that in all cases, the Russians attacked with small infantry groups numbering up to a squad, and they did not succeed, often suffering losses.
