Russia launched more than 20 drones over Ukraine

Russian forces attacked Ukraine overnight on July 4, launching 22 kamikaze drones. Only one drone was not intercepted by the air defense systems.

Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk's Telegram channel reported this

"On the night of July 4, the enemy attacked with 22 strike UAVs of the 'Shahed-131/136' type from the Kursk region," he said.

According to Oleshchuk, as a result of combat operations by anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces, and electronic warfare means of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 21 Shahed drones were shot down.

The targets, according to the general, were struck within the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Poltava regions.
