On the morning of Wednesday, October 18, Russian occupiers carried out a rocket attack in Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of the impact on a private sector in the village of Obukhivka, a woman died, and at least four people were injured. This was reported by the Mayor of Dnipro, Boris Filatov.
"Again, again, and again, the Russians are hitting Dnipro with rockets in private sectors. There are casualties and injured," he wrote.
Subsequently, the head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak, clarified that as a result of the Russian attack on private homes in Dniprovskyi district, one person died, and three more were injured.
Additionally, the Head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, noted that the strike hit the village of Obukhivka in Dnipropetrovsk Region. The woman who died was 31 years old.
Later, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Igor Klymenko, added that the number of wounded as a result of the Russian attack had increased to four. He stated that eight private houses in the residential sector were also damaged.
Rescue teams, police, and medical services are working at the site of the attack, providing assistance to the injured.
