A series of Russian attacks across Ukraine over the past day have resulted in multiple casualties and widespread property damage, with major incidents reported in Lviv, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, Rivne, and Volyn regions.
In Lviv, Mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported on Facebook that a combined attack involving Shahed drones and missiles struck Olena Stepanivna Street, leaving one person dead and two injured.
“A loud night in Lviv. The blast wave damaged dozens of houses, breaking windows and roofs,” Sadovyi wrote.
One of the injured is in critical condition, currently undergoing surgery, while the other sustained chest and leg wounds. Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, confirmed the casualties and said emergency services are on-site.
In Zaporizhzhia’s Polohy district, three airstrikes injured an 85-year-old woman.
“She suffered fractures, lacerations, and a concussion,” said Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional military administration.
Emergency responders are actively working at the scene.
Donetsk region saw three civilians killed and six injured in Russian attacks, according to Vadym Filashkin, head of the regional administration. Total casualties in Donetsk now stand at 3,429 dead and 7,868 injured, excluding Mariupol and Volnovakha.
In Kherson, one person was killed and three others injured after drone and artillery attacks across multiple settlements, including Bilozirka, Beryslav, and Kherson city. Authorities reported damage to apartment buildings, private houses, a gas pipeline, and vehicles.
Kharkiv region also suffered casualties, with two people killed near Petrivka village and another injured in Kharkiv city. Oleg Synehubov, head of the regional administration, reported that Russian forces used missiles, drones, and FPVs during the attacks, causing additional damage to homes, agricultural enterprises, and vehicles.
Other regions experienced collateral damage from Russian operations. In Rivne, falling debris during an air raid damaged a private house roof and municipal service windows, though no injuries occurred. In Volyn, minor building damage followed drone and missile strikes, with no casualties reported.
