Russian attacks across several regions of Ukraine over the past day have resulted in civilian casualties, injuries, and significant damage to homes, infrastructure, and energy facilities.
Kharkiv Region:
Four settlements in Kharkiv region came under Russian attacks, killing a 69-year-old man in the village of Zamulivka, Vovchansk community. Two others were injured: a 59-year-old man in Kupiansk on December 6 and a 65-year-old woman in Smorodkivka on December 9. Russian forces used one guided aerial bomb, two Geran-2 drones, and two FPV drones. Infrastructure damage included a civilian enterprise in Koviagy, a private house in Borova, and a vehicle in Zamulivka.
Sumy Region:
Russian forces conducted nearly 30 attacks on 20 settlements across 12 territorial communities. A 38-year-old man, previously wounded on October 17 in Trostianets, died in hospital. The highest number of attacks occurred in Sumy and Shostka districts, using artillery, mortars, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs. Damage included passenger cars, non-residential buildings, and private houses in Bilopillia, Seredyna-Buda, and Sumy communities.
Poltava Region:
Energy facilities in Kremenchuk district were struck by Russian attacks during the night of December 11, sparking fires. Air defenses intercepted multiple targets. Local services are working to contain the fires and repair damage.
Donetsk Region:
Russian attacks wounded five civilians on December 10. The total number of casualties in Donetsk region now stands at 3,761 killed and 8,571 injured, excluding Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Zaporizhzhia Region:
Seventeen settlements were hit, wounding a 63-year-old man and a 71-year-old woman in Polohy district. Authorities reported 470 strikes, including three airstrikes on Huliaipole and Ternuvate, 291 UAV attacks (mostly FPV drones), five MLRS strikes, and 171 artillery strikes across 17 settlements. Thirty-six reports of damage to homes and infrastructure were confirmed.
Dnipropetrovsk Region:
Russian artillery and drone strikes targeted Nikopol, Kryvyi Rih, and Synelnykove districts, damaging four private houses, farm buildings, two gas pipelines, and a minibus. Drone attacks caused fires at a farming enterprise in Synelnykove district, destroying three cars and damaging eight others. Ukrainian forces intercepted some enemy drones.
Kherson Region:
One civilian was killed and eight others injured across multiple settlements, including Antonivka, Kherson city, and surrounding villages. Russian strikes damaged an apartment building, five private houses, a supermarket, a farm building, gas pipelines, and vehicles.
