Russian attacks intensify in the South of Ukraine

On the previous day, Russian forces targeted an administrative building, a mobile clinic, and a TV tower in the Kherson region.

Residential areas of the region were also hit, including 3 apartment buildings and 11 private houses. Damage was reported to a gas pipeline, outbuildings, and private vehicles.

As a result of the Russian aggression, one person was killed and 8 were injured, including 1 child.

According to the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, the towns of Beryslav, Bilozirka, Veletenske, Kizomys, Komyshany, Shevchenkivka, Shlyakhove, Chervony Mayak, Mykhailivka, Mykilske, Novovorontsovka, Oleksandrivka, Antonivka, Sadove, Stanislav, Ponyativka, and the city of Kherson were under the fire and airstrikes.

Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, reported that at 12:53 in the Voznesensk district, the enemy used ballistic weapons. The rocket explosion caused a fire in dry grass and shrubs in an open area outside populated settlements. The fire was extinguished, and there were no casualties.

In the Mykolaiv district, on the afternoon of July 18 at 14:50 and 16:58, the enemy attacked the Kutsuruba community with FPV kamikaze drone .

Two fires broke out in dry grass, shrubs, and four outbuildings. The fires were quickly extinguished by firefighters, with no casualties reported.

The Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine added that the previous evening, Russian occupation forces attacked the Odessa region with a ballistic missile, an Iskander-M, from the occupied Crimea.
