Defence Intelligence received materials of official correspondence dated June 20 between the command of the 8th special aviation division (Chkalovsky, Moscow region) with the management of enterprises of the defense industry, which carry out the production, repair, and maintenance of aircraft series "An", "IL", "Tu" of various types and purposes. The command of 8 DR OsP is concerned about the lack of imported components for repair and maintenance of aircraft series "An", "IL", "Tu". As a way out of the situation, it is proposed to work out, based on the enterprise of the defense industry of the Russian Federation, the possibility of import substitution separately for each type of aircraft:
- IL-96-400vvip - 114 items of imported components made in Germany, France, USA, Great Britain, Ukraine, the Netherlands;
- IL-62 - 8 items of imported components made in the USA;
- IL-76MD - 6 items of imported components made in the USA, Ukraine;
- IL-18 - 1 name of imported components of Ukraine;
- Tu-214 - 71 names of imported components made in France, USA, Great Britain, Ukraine, China, Japan, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Germany;
- Tu-154 - 39 items of imported components made in France, USA, Great Britain, Ukraine;
- Tu-134 - 9 names of imported used production of the USA, Ukraine.
Among the components and systems that ceased to be supplied to Russia after the imposition of sanctions, beacon landing systems, smoke detectors, meteorological radars, radar systems, navigation systems and even coffee makers with microwaves.
As previously reported, the Russian Federation Council's committee chairman on constitutional law and state-building said that "the import substitution program has failed, except for the bravura reports of industry departments."
