The Russian Aerospace Forces have increased the number of aircraft on the territory of Belarus. Over the past two months, occupiers have redeployed a bomber and another fighter there.
This information was reported by the Telegram channel of the monitoring group 'Belarusian Hajun.'
Throughout October, the monitoring group recorded low aviation activity in Belarus. However, the number of Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft in the northern neighbors' territory increased.
"The increase occurred due to the arrival of Su-24M/MR and Su-30SM aircraft in Belarus in September-October. Additional confirmation of this is a story from the Belarusian Ministry of Defense's TV channel, filmed at the 'Baranovichi' airfield in early October, where Russian Su-24M/MR aircraft can be seen," the report said.
As of November 1, there are four aircraft in Belarus, according to the monitoring group:
- 1 Su-25 at the 'Lida' airfield
- 2 Su-24M/MR at the 'Baranovichi' airfield
- 1 Su-30SM at the 'Baranovichi' airfield.
