Russian forces attacked Ukrainian territory using kamikaze drones overnight on February 9th. Air defense forces destroyed 10 "Shakhed" drones.
This information was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
"The night of February 9, 2024, the enemy struck with 16 attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type from Cape Chauda in Crimea and the Kursk region of the Russian Federation," the message from the Ukrainian Air Force stated.
It is reported that mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the aerial attack.
As a result of the combat operation, 10 "Shakhed" drones were destroyed within the territories of Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Kharkiv regions.
