Russian forces struck Odessa region during the night of October 29, hitting civilian infrastructure, which caused damage, left some consumers without electricity, and resulted in one casualty.
According to Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleg Kiper, who reported this on Telegram,
“Despite active air defense, damage was recorded to energy and transport infrastructure. Unfortunately, there is one injured person who has received the necessary medical care.”
Kiper noted that the Russian attack caused a fire, which rescuers promptly extinguished. Energy specialists are already working to restore electricity. Critical infrastructure facilities are operating on generators.

DTEK Odesa Electric Networks clarified that as a result of the Russian attack on an energy facility, 26,900 households remain without power.
According to the company, one energy worker was injured during the attack. DTEK added that where technically possible, specialists restored critical infrastructure and provided reserve power to 7,000 clients.
“The damage to the energy facility is significant, and repair work will require a long time to return the equipment to working condition,” DTEK reported.
