Russian forces shelled Odessa with drones and ballistic missiles on the night of October 6

During the missile attack, a ship was damaged.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper.

"Regarding the missile attack, as a result of the shelling, a cargo civil vessel was damaged. Fortunately, no people were injured," he said.

 

 

According to rescuers, the strikes affected warehouse facilities and cargo trucks, leading to fires.

One man sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized.

About fifty rescuers were involved in extinguishing the fires.

"On the night of October 6, 2024, the air defense of southern Ukraine shot down 9 Shahed-136/131 strike drones. Additionally, the enemy attacked the Odessa region with two ballistic missiles, likely 'Iskander-M', launched from the occupied Crimea," the Southern Defense Command reported on Facebook on Sunday.
