Russians shelled Ukraine 21,000 times over the past week

During the past week, the Russian army conducted 21,000 shellings and 431 airstrikes across Ukraine. This was reported by Andriy Kovalov, the spokesperson for the General Staff of Ukraine, on the United News marathon.

"The Russian forces carried out 21,000 shellings, including about 733 using multiple launch rocket systems," he said.

Kovalov also informed that over the past week, the Russians launched 15 missile strikes and 431 airstrikes, using 367 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, the Russian army lost 8,723 soldiers over the past week.

"Last week's enemy losses include: 8,723 personnel, 104 tanks, 151 armored combat vehicles, 360 artillery systems, multiple launch rocket systems, 15 air defense systems, 283 operational-tactical level drones, 9 cruise missiles, 470 vehicles, 58 special equipment units, and one Russian ship," he said.

Kovalov added that Ukraine's air defense forces destroyed 96  Shahed-136 and Shahed-131 attack drones, as well as 67 Lancet drones, 5 Kh-101 cruise missiles, and 2 Iskander ballistic missiles.

"Ukrainian Defense Forces aviation and missile and artillery units hit 94 areas of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment concentrations, 5 command points, 6 artillery systems, 4 electronic warfare stations, 7 radar complexes, 15 air defense systems, 5 ground control stations for drones, 2 bases and fuel and lubricant depots, 4 ammunition depots, and 3 other important enemy targets," the spokesperson informed.
