"Russians who fled from Kherson are now trying to dig around Melitopol and the Melitopol region. Today they are simply settling in villages, taking away houses, taking away apartments, Kadyrovites are coming," Fedorov said.

Also, according to him, they are building lines of defense.

"One of the lines of defense that runs along the city of Melitopol from Kherson to Zaporizhzhia, they call the "Wagner line", "Prigozhin's line", which uses building materials from dismantled reclamation canals and our plundered enterprises, factories," the mayor noted. .

In addition, according to him, the Russian occupiers are settling in kindergartens, schools and arrange terror.

“Their mobilized look like homeless people. They rebel, drink all day long, and thus threaten our residents. As for the hospitals, they even fraudulently collect the blood of our residents. Yesterday, civilians began to be discharged en masse from the hospital, they stopped letting relatives go there, and they are trying to discharge everyone en masse," Fedorov said.

According to him, this is done to accommodate as many of their wounded soldiers as possible in the last hospital of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region.
