By destroying the port infrastructure of the Danube cluster with Iranian drones, Russia has undermined the foundations of global food security and deprived Ukraine of its grain.

This was emphasized by the Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and the Minister of Development of Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure of Ukraine, Oleksandr Kubrakov.

"Ukrainian grain is irreplaceable for the world, and in the coming years, it cannot be substituted by any other country. Therefore, any disruption in the logistics chain leads to shortages and price surges that affect every person in the world. The Russians struck warehouses and grain elevators, damaging nearly 40 thousand tons of grain that were awaited by countries in Africa, China, and Israel," said Oleksandr Kubrakov.

According to him, the port of Izmail suffered the most extensive destruction: the maritime terminal and the infrastructure of the Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company, a crucial Ukrainian cargo carrier on the Danube, were damaged.

"The world must resist. Attacks on Ukrainian ports are a threat to the world. We are capable of defending ourselves; our air defense forces can effectively use weapons. We need more of it. Each system is a saved life. Speed and determination are the destiny of the strong," summarized the Deputy Prime Minister.

It should be noted that in nine days of systematic shelling of Ukraine, Russia destroyed 180 thousand tons of grain crops, 26 objects of port infrastructure, and five civilian vessels.
