Since the beginning of 2023, Ukraine has exported 41,000 metric tons of honey to countries in the European Union (EU) and the United States, according to the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

It's noted that Ukrainian producers have exported 41,000 metric tons of honey in the first 9 months of 2023. Ukrainian honey is being supplied to countries including Germany, Poland, Belgium, the USA, France, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, and Hungary.

Despite Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022, Ukraine managed to export 48,000 metric tons of honey.

Additionally, the government is currently working on implementing EU requirements in the field of beekeeping into Ukrainian legislation.

Furthermore, in September 2023, Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 1041 was adopted, regulating the requirements for the transportation of bees.
