In the final of the Ukrainian stage of the Startup World Cup 2024, which took place on September 4, the startup Spendbase.io emerged as the winner.
The developer of the platform for optimizing corporate subscriptions to SaaS services will now represent Ukraine at the global grand final, which will be held from October 2-4 in San Francisco.
In the final, 15 top Ukrainian startups competed, selected from over 126 applications. They presented their pitches to a jury composed of leading investors and IT market experts.
In addition to Spendbase.io, other promising startups were awarded:
- 1st place and $3,000 — PEONY, single-use eco-friendly pads that decompose in water.
- 2nd place and $1,000 — Wild.Codes, an innovative marketplace for finding verified remote developers.
- 3rd place and $1,000 — CoSupport AI, a solution that enhances customer support and provides businesses with useful data-driven insights.
The winners will have their tickets and accommodation in San Francisco covered for the grand final, where they will compete for the main prize of $1 million in investments.
The Startup World Cup is a series of global startup conferences and competitions supported by Pegasus Tech Ventures. It consists of over 100 regional startup competitions in more than 20 countries, leading up to the grand final in Silicon Valley. The best startups from each regional event will fly to the USA to compete for the $1,000,000 grand prize.
