Counterintelligence of the Security Service has detained another FSB informant who adjusted Russian strikes against the Armed Forces in Donetsk. According to the investigation, the suspect leaked the geolocations of Ukrainian military units in the Kramatorsk area.
Her intermediary was a former pastor of one of the UOC (Moscow Patriarchate) churches in Donetsk, who left for Russia at the beginning of the full-scale invasion and started working for the FSB. It was established that previously, the criminal was an assistant to the cleric, and after his escape to Russia, she continued to maintain contact with him.
To organize intelligence and subversive activities, the informant traveled to Russia through EU countries earlier this year. There, she met with her "curator" from the FSB - a former artillery reconnaissance officer of the 100th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Russian forces.
During the meeting, he briefed the suspect, outlined her main tasks, and established communication channels through the cleric of the UOC (MP). After that, the criminal returned to Ukraine and began collecting intelligence information for the aggressor country. The obtained information was transmitted to Russia through a pre-prepared anonymous chat in a popular messenger.
SSU officers documented the criminal activities and detained her in her own residence in the village of Krasnotorka. During the search, the detainee's mobile phone and tablet, which she used to transfer intelligence to the occupiers, were seized.
Currently, the Security Service investigators have informed her of the suspicion. The criminal is in custody and faces up to 8 years in prison.
