SSU detains accountant of Odessa plant who directed missile strikes on the city under FSB orders

The Security Service of Ukraine has detained another FSB agent who was preparing coordinates for a new series of missile and drone strikes on Odessa.

The Russian forces was particularly interested in locations of checkpoints with armored vehicles and mobile anti-aircraft fire groups. The Russian intelligence agency recruited a local plant accountant for adjusting aerial attacks, who was targeted by the aggressor due to her anti-Ukrainian posts on Telegram.

Under the Russia's orders, the agent traveled around the city on public transport, filming the locations of Ukrainian defenders and reporting back to the FSB, including marking information on Google Maps.

 

 

The Security Service promptly identified and documented the agent's reconnaissance activities and detained her at the final stage of the special operation. Comprehensive measures were also taken to secure the locations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

During a search of the traitor's residence, a mobile phone with evidence of her espionage activities for Russia was found, including hidden photo and video recordings of Defense Forces' sites and communication with the FSB.

The SSU investigators have informed the detainee of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law).

The offender is currently in custody without the right to bail and faces life imprisonment with property confiscation.
