The Security Service of Ukraine detained another female agent of the Russian military intelligence (commonly known as the GRU) in the Donetsk region. The suspect was directing Russian air strikes against the Defense Forces on the Kramatorsk front.

According to case materials, the suspect turned out to be a saleswoman at a shop in Sloviansk.

After being remotely recruited, the agent received a hostile mission: to identify locations of Ukrainian troops in the frontline area of the region.

To gather intelligence, the woman personally surveyed the area, collecting information about the positions of the Defense Forces.

She compiled the collected information into reports and sent them to her “contact,” who was a militant of the Russian forces fighting on the eastern front.

SSU officers acted proactively and secured the locations of Ukrainian troops in advance.

At the final stage of the special operation, the Security Service detained the traitor at her residence. A phone was seized from her containing an account on the social network 'Odnoklassniki,' where she communicated with the Russians.

The suspect is in custody and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
