Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine exposed another collaborator who cooperated with Russian forces during the occupation of part of the Mykolaiv region.

The perpetrator was identified as a resident of Novopetrivka village in Snihurivka district. During the community's capture, he set up a field kitchen for the "Kadyrovites" groups that entered the village.

It was established that the collaborator arranged the "dining room" for the occupiers on the territory of his own property and obtained food for the "menu" from his farm. Additionally, the collaborator transported food to the trenches and frontline positions of the regular Russian military forces.

Moreover, the man repaired military equipment for the "Kadyrovites" who were stationed at checkpoints and looted the private homes of local residents. Subsequently, the invaders used the repaired vehicles for escape and transporting stolen property to the territory of Russia. After the liberation of the village, the suspect moved to Khmelnytskyi as a displaced person in an attempt to "disappear" and avoid justice.

However, SSU officers exposed the perpetrator, determined his temporary residence, and apprehended him.

Currently, an investigation is ongoing. The issue of informing him about suspicion under Part 4 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaboration) and selecting a preventive measure in the form of detention is being resolved.

The perpetrator faces up to 5 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Comprehensive measures were carried out by SSU officers in Khmelnytskyi region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office.
