As a result of today's Russian strike on the Pivdenny port, storage facilities with agricultural products destined for export to Asian and African countries were destroyed.
The department specified that two terminals specializing in the handling of agricultural products were attacked in the Pivdenny port.
"One of the terminals belongs to the globally renowned Singaporean company 'Delta Wilmar,' which has been operating in Ukraine since 2004 and also owns several agricultural processing plants. This represents over $300 million in investments and nearly 1000 jobs," the ministry wrote.
It is noted that this is the 39th attack by Russia on port infrastructure objects in the Odessa region.
215 objects were damaged or partially destroyed, along with 153 vehicles, 8 civilian vessels, and 26 civilian casualties.
