The "Donate To Evacuate" initiative, launched by students from the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) in collaboration with the KSE Foundation and the Charitable Foundation for the Development of Ukraine's Defense, has raised over $2,000,000 for the purchase of medical evacuation helicopters and search and rescue operations for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The amount collected during the charitable ballet evening at the National Opera of Ukraine was twice as much as initially planned for the project's launch.
The purchased medical evacuation helicopters will save the lives of hundreds and thousands of Ukrainian soldiers.
The employees of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine express gratitude to everyone who contributed financially and helped in the implementation of the charitable "Donate To Evacuate" initiative.
Special thanks are extended to Ukrainian prima ballerina Katerina Kanyukova, a soloist of the English National Ballet, who helped gather a whole constellation of world stars for the charitable performance at the National Opera of Ukraine.
The fundraising campaign received support from many Ukrainians, foreigners, numerous business companies, representatives of creative industries, and the world of art.
The names of individuals and company names that supported the Ukrainian Intelligence soldiers will be placed on the sides of the medical evacuation helicopters in the form of camouflage patterns.
