The Ukrainian director Tanu Muino directed a music video for the track "Bongos" by the American singer and rapper Cardi B, which she recorded together with Megan Thee Stallion. This is the first collaboration between Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion since 2020 when they released the single "WAP," as reported by Pitchfork.
Currently, the song has over a billion streams on Spotify.
In the music video, they pour Kazamigos, dance twerk in colourful exotic costumes with high heels. The action takes place at a luxurious villa in a Mauritanian style. The artists pose in a marble fountain with sculptures of lions and relax on the beach.
"Bongos" is another single from Cardi B, who released her debut album "Invasion of Privacy" back in 2018. The musician also released tracks such as "Jealousy," "Put It On Da Floor Again," and "Point Me 2" during the summer of 2023.
Cardi B has previously worked with director Tanu Muino on “Up,” “Wild Side,” and “Rumors.”
Previously, Tanu Muino has directed music videos for Harry Styles, Katy Perry, the Elton John and Britney Spears duet, and her work for Doja Cat was nominated at the MTV Music Video Awards.
