The village of Krynky in Kherson region is almost completely destroyed. Meanwhile, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their operations near the settlement on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
This was reported by the spokesperson of the Tavria operational-strategic grouping, Dmytro Lykhovyi, in a comment to Crimea. Realities.
"The positions of Ukrainian forces in the village of Krynky were completely destroyed as a result of intense, prolonged enemy shelling and airstrikes. The village itself is almost completely destroyed. There is no possibility to hold defenses there, no opportunity to cling to any fortifications, so Ukrainian defenders are now located at other designated positions and bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro," Lykhovyi said.
According to him, the Dnipro direction is "the hottest in the entire operational zone of the Tavria grouping, with daily enemy assaults."
"There are relatively more of them compared to other sections of our line of contact in our operational zone, with numbers ranging from three to four per day, sometimes two. Sometimes there can be about a dozen. This is a slightly lower intensity than before, but attempts by the Russians to advance on our bridgeheads continue. However, they remain unsuccessful," the spokesperson added.
