Teachers from Russia are massively brought to the temporarily occupied Melitopol, since the Ukrainians refused to cooperate with the collaborators.

The mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov, spoke about this during the telethon. He noted that 90% of the education staff in the city refused to cooperate with the invaders, so they are already looking for a replacement in Russia.

"And that 10% who agreed are technical specialists - janitors and so on. Therefore, practically not a single teacher agreed to cooperate with collaborators. This is an unconditional indicator of patriotism among teachers and the desire to teach our Ukrainian children according to our programs," Fedorov said.

Russians began to recruit teachers from Russia to "teach" Ukrainian children in the occupation.

"The invaders clearly understood that our teachers did not want to be collaborators and did not want to serve the Russian Federation and refused to cooperate. Therefore, today the Rashists are already beginning to recruit teachers from any regions of Russia and offer them work in the temporarily occupied territories in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions,” the mayor said.

Ivan Fedorov also added that the residents of Melitopol are very hopeful for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and believe that on September 1, children will go to Ukrainian schools.
