The 15th Odesa International Film Festival announces the jury lineup that will evaluate films in this year's International European Competition Programme.

The jury includes Maciek Hamela (Poland), Anna Rosa de Sousa (Portugal), and Irina Ostrovska (Ukraine).

Maciek Hamela:

Polish film director and producer of cinema and radio. His debut feature-length documentary "From Where to Where" was nominated for an Oscar, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, and received top awards at the Sheffield DocFest, Zurich Film Festival, Hamburg FilmFest, and the "Best Documentary Film" prize at the 14th Odesa International Film Festival. Machek is also a co-author of the short documentary film "Be Healthy," which received the Doc Alliance award as part of the Cannes Docs program. He produced films such as "Convictions," "Seaweed Collectors," and "Parquet." In 2018, he received the Silver Melchior for a series of documentary podcasts called "Plan B."

Anna Rosa de Sousa:

Portuguese actress and director who studied at the London Film School, where she directed her first short fiction and documentary films. In 2020-2021, her debut feature-length fiction film "Listen" premiered at several international film festivals, including Busan, Raindance, the Santa Barbara Film Festival, and won the Lion of the Future prize and a special jury mention in the "Horizons" program at the 77th Venice International Film Festival.

Iryna Ostrovska:

Ukrainian actress, member of the Ukrainian Film Academy, nominee for the Golden Dzyga Award for her debut role in Antoniy Lukich's film "My Thoughts Are Silent." Her portfolio includes 24 acting works, including collaborations with director Christina Tynkevich in the film "How Is Katya?", Croatian director Dalibor Matanic in "Silence," Viktor Priduvalov and Serhiy Zhadan in the music video "River," and more. She played the lead role in Taras Dron's feature film "House Behind the Glass," which premiered at the Warsaw International Film Festival.

It is worth noting that this year's Odesa International Film Festival will take place in Kyiv from July 12 to 20.
